Your booking
These terms apply to photography, video and related property media ordered from Home Story Media LLC. Your confirmed order identifies the property, selected services, price and deliverables. A requested appointment becomes confirmed when we accept it. Please check the property size, address and service selections before submitting an order; changes to scope or size may change the price and will be discussed before additional work begins.
Access and preparation
Please arrange permission to enter and photograph the property, including occupied rooms and any shared amenities. Have the spaces ready before our arrival and provide accurate access instructions. Cleaning, moving furniture and staging are not included unless specifically agreed. Let us know about pets, occupants, construction, restricted areas or safety concerns. The client or property representative remains responsible for securing the property and managing its systems after the shoot.
Scheduling and changes
Contact us as soon as plans change. Online rescheduling is available subject to the booking portal’s notice requirements; for changes within 24 hours, contact us directly. We do not charge a cancellation fee. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. We will discuss any additional visit or changed scope before proceeding.
Weather, aerials and twilight
Outdoor conditions, safe access, flight restrictions and permission requirements can affect coverage. We may adjust or reschedule affected work when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable. Drone services are subject to lawful and safe operation. Twilight appointments depend on the available evening light; arriving late or having an unprepared property may reduce the footage or photographs we can capture.
Production and delivery
The deliverables listed in your confirmed order define what is included. Raw footage, unedited photographs and working project files are excluded unless expressly agreed. Delivery timing is arranged for the project; this website does not promise a standard 24-hour or 48-hour turnaround. Rush work is subject to availability and an agreed price. Please raise any technical or editing concern promptly so we can review it. New creative requests, additional shots and changes to the original brief may require a separate quote.
Payment and permission to use media
Payment is due as stated on the invoice or confirmed order. Any deposit or payment requirement will be shown before you commit to the booking. Permission to publish the delivered media begins after payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing. If an invoice is disputed, contact us promptly so we can review it; the dispute does not expand the agreed usage rights.
Copyright and marketing license
Home Story Media LLC retains copyright in the media it creates. A paid order provides the purchasing client a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to advertise the specified property during that listing, including through the client’s website, social channels, printed marketing and listing platforms. Ownership of the files does not transfer copyright. Use by a replacement agent, builder, designer or other business, resale, sublicensing, or use for another property requires separate written permission. Routine resizing and cropping are permitted; other alterations should be approved by us.
Community images and portfolio use
Community coverage is licensed for marketing the property named in the order. It is not exclusive and may be licensed for other projects. Please obtain permission for restricted community facilities. We may show our work in our portfolio and business marketing. Tell us about confidentiality or publication restrictions before the shoot so we can agree on them in writing.
Virtual edits and third-party platforms
Virtual staging and virtual twilight are edited representations. Clients are responsible for using appropriate disclosures and complying with applicable listing-platform requirements. Floor plans and 3D tours are marketing aids rather than surveys or construction documents. Hosting, availability and features supplied by outside platforms depend on those providers and the hosting period included in your order.
File care and service concerns
Download and back up the final media when it is delivered. Ongoing storage, replacement downloads and extended hosting are not guaranteed unless included in the order. Contact us through the booking portal about corrections, access issues or service concerns. We may pause work where access is unsafe, required permission is missing or an invoice remains unresolved. Any remedy or refund will be assessed against the agreed scope and work completed, subject to applicable rights.
Which terms apply
The version provided when your booking is accepted applies to that order. Any specific written agreement about the project takes priority over these general terms where the two differ. Changes to this page do not retroactively change an existing confirmed order.
